Gigi Gosnell

Gigi Gosnell has chaired REPSSI's board since 2023. Her career spans two decades in South Africa's public service, across land reform, local government, social development, and provincial administration, with three years lecturing in psychology at a tertiary institution in the Philippines, and coordinating roles in gender training and land advocacy for non-governmental organisations in both the Philippines and South Africa. She holds an MA in Education from the University of the Witwatersrand. Now retired, Gigi remains actively engaged in supporting the work of REPSSI and the wellbeing of children and young people.

Stefan Germann

President

Stefan Germann is a global development leader with more than 30 years of experience across public health, child protection, community development, and philanthropy. He co-founded REPSSI, grounded in his doctoral research at the University of South Africa on the wellbeing of children in child-headed households in high HIV-prevalence settings. Earlier, he led health and child protection programmes across Africa and Asia with World Vision International. Stefan served for seven years as CEO of Fondation Botnar in Basel, and is now CEO of the Ursimone Wietlisbach Foundation, where he is advancing the move towards blended finance and impact investment. He also sits on the board of Blue Earth Capital.

Nathalie Jean Baptiste

Nathalie Jean Baptiste is Director of the ECOM Foundation Switzerland, working at the intersection of philanthropy, business, and civil society, and committed to a philanthropy that listens, learns, and invests in locally led solutions. Her career spans more than two decades across Latin America, Africa, and Europe, bringing together research, strategy, and implementation. Before ECOM, she led international programmes at the Julius Baer Foundation, and earlier held a Marie Curie Global Fellowship studying urban transformation and inequality in Tanzania. Originally trained as an architect, she holds a Master's in Urban Studies from the Bauhaus University and a doctorate in urban planning. Nathalie speaks French, Haitian Creole, English, Spanish, German, and Kiswahili.

Miso Dhliwayo

Miso Dhliwayo is REPSSI's Director of Corporate Affairs and Finance, and has worked with the organisation for close to 20 years. A Certified Accountant with a strong grounding in corporate governance and regulatory assurance, she is responsible for budget control, financial management, and risk management, and for ensuring that REPSSI has the sound financial systems it needs to steward its resources. Miso brings to the REPSSI Alliance Board two decades of institutional knowledge and the financial and governance discipline that underpins the work.

Patrick Onyango Mangen

Patrick Onyango Mangen is REPSSI's Chief Executive Officer, a development management specialist with more than 20 years providing senior leadership across the humanitarian and development sectors, first in the Great Lakes Region and later in Southern Africa. His work spans strategic leadership, community development programmes, partnership building, and resource mobilisation, with technical depth in mental health, child protection, support for orphans and vulnerable children, and livelihoods. He studied at the University of Bristol, with further postgraduate qualifications from Stellenbosch University, Oxford Brookes University, and Makerere University.
